Intensive Musical Education

Freiherr-vom-Stein-School provides a variety of possibilities to foster musical talent for grades 5 to 13.

In grades 5 and 6, as part of regular music lessons, students have the opportunity to learn to play an instrument that is provided by the school. After grade 6, students can join the “Young Band” or become member of the Wind Orchestra at a later time. Additionally, interested students can take part in the choir, which has a special focus on musical instruction through singing.

Wind Orchestra

Objectives: The Wind Orchestra provides the opportunity for all age groups (especially grades 8-13) to work on exciting music for wind ensembles together and performing on various public occasions. Experience has shown that students from grade 8 onwards attend to play their instrument there.

Meeting point: Fridays, 8th to 10th lesson in the rehearsal room F171
